Sunsets in Harbour View

Over the years, Lisa’s Point of View has been able to capture incredible sunsets in the Harbour View region in Suffolk, Virginia. This blog post will be different from previous blog posts as I will let the beauty of the sunset photos tell the story.

The Harbour View area is located along the banks of the Nansemond River in northern Suffolk.

The reflections the sun gives off the water and the railings of the pier softens as the sun disappears on the horizon.

The sunsets after a storm or on a cloudy evening can give spectacular views especially as the sun tries to break through the clouds.

My favorite sunset photos to capture are through the wrought iron arch of the gate on the pier with the sun in the center. Each photo seems similar yet evokes a different emotion and powerful strong colors as the sun is setting.

The solitude of sitting on a bench to watch the sunset can be the perfect way to end the day.

Every season the sunsets are different yet striking in contrast. The serenity of sunsets on the Nansemond River in Harbour View is one of “Lisa’s Favorite Places” to be.
