Nature's Beauty At The Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden
Lisa’s Point of View’s new “favorite place” to visit in Richmond is the Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden. I was in awe of the picturesque natural beauty from lush green landscape to beautiful varieties of flowers, to sculptures, water sanctuary’s, children’s gardens and more .
On my visit they had a fun LEGO exhibition called “Nature Connects: Art with LEGO Bricks” made from LEGO’s on display throughout the gardens. Children were having fun exploring trying to find all the LEGO creations..
I fell in love with the domed conservatory and all the stunning orchids on display. It was a tropical paradise. Along the garden trails there is also a rose garden, a children’s garden, and Asian Valley and a Cherry Tree Walk. Throughout the gardens there were benches to sit down and enjoy looking at the gardens and relax.
I highly recommend the Robin’s Tea House for lunch. With the beautiful expansive windows you have views of the lush green gardens while enjoying indoor or outdoor dining. Their gift shop is very large with all types of merchandise including jewelry, gardening, fashion accessories and many other types of merchandise and gift ideas.
When I visited there was a special butterfly exhibit along with “The Art of Play”. With 50 acres to explore the botanical gardens, it is the perfect way for families to enjoy a full day of fun and the outdoors!
I look forward to traveling back to Richmond and capturing the beauty of the fall at the gardens! I hope you have enjoyed Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens photos from #LisasPointOfView.
